It's a sexy mural that garnered plenty of selfies and Instagram likes, but sadly it's no more. Kanye pashing Kanye is gone.

Artist Scott Marsh painted the epic Kanye mural on a wall in Chippendale, an inner-city suburb of Sydney in Australia back in early March. On Sunday, he painted over the controversial art after claiming he received a six-figure sum.

Two weeks ago, Marsh offered to remove the mural within 24 hours if someone bought a A$100,000 (US$75,309) print of the image, which he posted online. That was in response to what Marsh claimed was someone from the hip hop artist's management requesting the mural be painted over in exchange for a sum of money that Marsh deemed too low.

Well, surprise surprise, a mysterious person apparently stumped up the A$100,000 cash.

Marsh broke the news on Instagram Saturday, saying that he'll be drinking "from the top shelf" at a nearby pub now that he is hell of a lot richer. No news as yet in regards to who this mysterious person happens to be or if it is all an elaborate plot by Marsh.

The mural was finally painted over on Sunday, with a solitary pinky left behind from the much-talked about image. Bye Kanye loves Kanye, we'll miss you.
