Kanye West's philosophical side made an appearance on Ellen

While chatting with DeGeneres on Wednesday, West went off on a serious tangent about art, Twitter, creativity and humanity itself.

"I see the importance and the value of everyone being able to experience a more beautiful life," he says.

In the span of about eight minutes, West touched on all the key points of his usual interview lectures: glass ceilings, Michael Jackson, classism, Walt Disney, Steve Jobs, Picasso and clothes.

"I have ideas that can make the human race's existence within our hundred years better, period," he declares.

He continued, hurtling through a laundry list of concepts.

"I don't give a f*ck how much you sold, if you playing on radio. Are you connecting? Picasso is dead. Steve Jobs is dead. Walt Disney is dead. Name somebody living that you can name in the same breath as them. Don't tell me about being likable. We got a hundred years here. We're one race, the human race, one civilization. We're a blip in the existence of the universe! And we constantly try to pull each other down!"

He also talked about his designing aspiration, sharing that he called the head of Payless so he could make accessible footwear.

"I remember going to school in fifth grade and wanting to have a good outfit ... I want to take away bullying," he says.

Never change, Yeezus.

The rapper also played a goofy game of 5 Second Rule with DeGeneres.

Plus, he talked about his son, Saint. DeGeneres makes a strong case that she basically gave West the idea for the baby's name.
