Sound the alarm: Kanye West is finally on Instagram

Kanye West can now add budding photographer to his long list of diverse skills.

Late Saturday evening, Kanye West officially joined Instagram. At the time of writing, West amassed a cool 329,000 followers overnight with a single post, yet he hasn't followed a single person, not even his wife, Kim Kardashian-West.

While West is known for his sometimes ridiculous and possibly artistic tweets, this is his first time using the photo app. In 2013 he shot down any rumors that he may have an Instagram account.

But in March of 2016 he did saying he was "thinking about getting an Instagram."

West only grammed one photo, which appears to be a still from the 1990 sci-fi flick Total Recall starring Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Oddly enough, Yeezy tweeted on Thursday that he got rid of his phone because it was clogging up his creative process, so hopefully Instagram will prove to be a satisfying creative outlet.
