We've all had to scoop our way through the poop pile that has been Kanye West's Twitter feed for the last week, now we're poop-scooping our way through his newest single.

After teasing a new single on Friday, West dropped a link to his website, which contained a stream to the new track "Lift Yourself."

The simple song starts with a single guitar and vocal samples from the 1973 song "Liberty" by Amnesty, sped and pitched up a bit. The track appears to be in mono until the beat finally drops about 25 seconds in, only to disappear after a few bars.

After transitioning between the singers and back into a more complex beat, Yeezy finally comes on to drop a verse. Sorta.

Here's the best transcription we could come up with:

Poopy do scoop

Scoopy de do woop

Woopty scoopty poop

Poop de scoopty

Scoopy de woop

Woopy de scoop woop poop

Poop do de woop scoop

Poop! Poop!

Scoop de di woop

Woop de di scoop

Woop de di scoop poop

And it's fucking catchy, somehow.

Anyway, the internet had some feelings, and a lot of people called out Yeezy for being a troll. I'm sure he'll tweet about how we all got it wrong in the coming days.

Or maybe this whole thing has just been a huge publicity stunt.
