Kanye West has been frustrated for awhile about the battle of streaming services and its impact to give the people new music.

On Wednesday night in Seattle, the rapper continued to express his annoyance of Tidal and Apple Music and explained why the exclusivity between the two platforms means there will never be a followup to Watch The Throne, the joint album between West and Jay-Z that was released in 2011.

"There will never be a Watch The Throne 2," he said, explaining "Tidal/Apple bullshit" is to blame, but not expanding much more than that.

The last time West publicly spoke out about his grievances between the two services was in July, when he posted a series of tweets expressing his irritation of the exclusivity and deals that come with both Tidal and Apple.

During West's Seattle monologue, the rapper also divulged information as to why Jay-Z and him were stripped from the album version of "Pop Style," a track off of Drake's latest project Views, calling it "some Tidal, some political shit, some shit about percentages on songs."

"Y'all didn't get what you were supposed to get with me and Drake on this song because of some Tidal/Apple bullshit," he said. Drake has an exclusive contract with Apple, while West's latest album, The Life of Pablo, was released exclusively on Tidal earlier this year.

According to West's monologue, Jay-Z almost didn't record his short verse on "Pop Style" out of respect for Meek Mill—the Philadelphia rapper managed by Jay's Roc Nation who has beef with Drake.

Basically, it sounds like a mess—especially when you consider the joint album West and Drake have been teasing for awhile. But hopefully one day, as West tweeted in July, the kids will finally have the music.
