Take, for example, Kate Hudson, who celebrated her 37th birthday this weekend at a joint party held with fashion editor/model BFF Derek Blasberg and designer Jennifer Meyer.

And as is the case for any outing that features more than two celebrities, Hudson's birthday party was a heavily 'grammed affair. Not that we can blame them-- if a birthday party doesn't have its own hashtag, was it worth attending in the first place?
