We've watched Donald Trump dish out some painfully awkward handshakes over the years, but few know what it's like to experience it, um, firsthand.

Kathleen Turner has, though. And she recently disclosed some disturbing details about the president's infamous shake in a conversation with Vulture's David Marchese.

In the interview, Turner opened up about her long career (she even revealed which co-star she once slapped), and when asked if she'd ever bumped into President Trump at a New York party in the '80s, the actress didn't hold anything back.

"Have you ever met him?" Marchese asked in reference to Trump. "Yes. Yuck. He has this gross handshake," Turner replied.

"He goes to shake your hand and with his index finger kind of rubs the inside of your wrist," she explained. "He’s trying to do some kind of seductive intimacy move. You pull your hand away and go yuck."

Uhhhhmmmmm. Ew? That sounds like an extremely unprofessional and overly intimate nightmare.

In the past, Donald Trump's handshakes have come under the microscope, because quite frankly, they're like no shake anyone's ever seen.

Sometimes he forcefully yanks the recipient's arm towards his own body, and other times he refuses to release his grip first — making for especially long shakes like this one with French President Emmanuel Macron.

Macron's wife Brigitte has also been a recipient of an unnatural Trump handshake, as well as the president of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, and more.

Now that the president's horrible handshake skills are so widely known and Turner has provided a first-hand perspective, perhaps people will make an active attempt to avoid Trump's signature greeting. Or at the very least, anticipate his approach and go in strong like Macron learned.
