Kathryn Hahn and Rachel Weisz are made to be together, forever -- at least in queer fanfiction on Tumblr.

Twitter user @tahani_aljamil recently posted a video of Hahn staring at Weisz during a Hollywood Reporter roundtable discussion. In the clip, @Tahani_aljamil added the opening score from Carol, Todd Haynes' 2016 lesbian period melodrama, to the video.

The result was very queer and erotic and torturous, with just the right amount of repression to make it tick.

Since playing queer characters in both Disobedience and The Favourite, Weisz has become a star in the queer fanfiction community. Who cares that she's married to Daniel Craig? If she appears in this many queer films and is this stunning and smart in person, she must be covertly queer, the argument goes.

No one is a better match for Weisz than Transparent star Kathryn Hahn. Hahn plays a hot rabbi and is one of the few "straight" characters on the show.

In the queer fanfiction universe, it's highly possible that Hahn plays straight on the show but is privately queer in real life and in love with fellow brilliant actress Rachel Weisz. This is the ultimate queer melodrama. This is the stuff of Carol.

Thank you, @tahani_ajamail, for making this submerged collective fantasy possible.
