Katy Perry is the official pop lord of Twitter.

The Grammy-nominated singer is the first user to hit the 90 million follower mark on the social site, making her the most-followed person in the world.

Perry now wields top place over Justin Bieber (83.8 million) and Taylor Swift (79 million). The pop star has long been one of the most-followed people on Twitter, with Bieber and his band of faithful Beliebers always tagging closely behind.

Here are Perry's top 5 most retweeted tweets, which are amazingly mostly about One Direction.
