Never mind porgs, we have a new favourite The Last Jedi star: Kelly Marie Tran a.k.a. Rose Tico.

When Tran overheard Star Wars fans gushing about her character when she was out at a pub, she did something truly wonderful. She recorded her reaction and then went over to introduce herself.

"A few days ago, I was at a pub eating pie with a friend, when this DELIGHTFUL group of people came in," wrote Tran on Instagram. "They sat down at the table next to me and started discussing The Last Jedi — in minute detail."

Tran said that her friend started filming as she listened to what the fans were saying, and her friend captured her truly adorable reaction as she heard them discussing Rose.

"After lots of creepy listening — and eating 😬 — I awkwardly walked over to introduce myself. They couldn’t be more lovely," she wrote. "What an incredible moment in a string of incredible moments I’ve been experiencing lately."

In the second post in the Instagram gallery shared by Tran, she shared a photo of herself with her new friends. Awwwww.

"In my 8 years as a struggling actor, I came to the realization that the hardest thing to obtain from another human being is their genuine interest," she added before thanking people for watching and discussing the movie.

Awwwwww.
