Kellyanne Conway's bad month got even worse Monday after the Trump advisor found herself passive aggressively arguing with CNN on Twitter.

Trump's queen of "alternative facts" had a very public dispute with the cable news network in an exchange that displayed to everyone how hard she's trying to spin her latest blunder.

The whole thing started when CNN reportedly turned down an interview with Conway for Sunday's State of the Union talk show.

This was after CNN had requested an interview with Vice President Mike Pence and was instead offered Conway in his place. The network told The New York Time that they didn't want her as a guest because of “serious questions about her credibility.”

This led to a hilarious "he-said-she-said" Twitter feud Monday with CNN adding in a solid "fact" burn. It's good to remember Trump has called CNN fake news and a terrible media organization -- repeatedly.

CNN's rejection came soon after Conway straight-up made up a massacre in Bowling Green, Kentucky during a TV interview about radicalized Iraqis arrested in the city several years ago.

She later apologized for the fiction, insisting it was an "honest mistake." However, two more instances of Conway talking about the bogus "massacre" have arisen, in interviews with both TMZ and Cosmopolitan.

Alternative facts aren't going anywhere.
