Awesome Kenobi-centered fan trailer explains what Old Ben did after Episode III

Turns out he hung out in the desert feeling bad a lot!

If you're a Star Wars fan who's always wondered how the youthful Obi-Wan Kenobi of Episode III turns into the elderly, tired Obi-Wan of Episode IV in the 19 years between the film plots, this fan trailer has the answer.

In short, he spends a lot of time in the sun and he doesn't take care of himself.

Rich Williamson uploaded a fan trailer for what he's calling Kenobi: A Star Wars Story. In the eyes of Williamson, the plot of this fictional film would follow Obi-Wan in the 19 years between Episode III and IV.

The trailer is cut together from Star Wars scenes and clips from Last Days in the Desert, a film in which Ewan McGregor played Jesus Christ.

While the movie is still merely a sweet, beautiful dream, Ewan McGregor has expressed interest in spending some more time as Obi-Wan. In March, McGregor spoke to Collider about such a film.

I’d very much like to do one too. I think the story between Episode III and Episode IV, I think there’s a story there. I think that’s the Obi-Wan Kenobi movie, if there is one. The one that bridges my Obi-Wan Kenobi and Alec’s Obi-Wan Kenobi because there’s a—I don’t know how long he’s in the desert there, but it’s got to be twenty or thirty years.
