Super lucky Kentucky Derby gambler wins $75,000 off a $1 bet
Happy Monday. How was your weekend? Probably not as good as this guy's.
He won more than $75,000 betting on the Kentucky Derby — off a wager of just $1.
Here's a photo of our unidentified big winner, shared online by Holden Kurwicki of local Louisville TV station WHAS 11. As for just how this guy won so big? We'll get to that in a second.

Our fellow here cashed out by correctly predicting what's called a "superfecta" — that is, picking the race's top four finishers in order.
A superfecta pays well regardless, but our lucky winner also got an assist from the elements this weekend. Wet track conditions threw a wild card into this year's Kentucky Derby, circumstances that typically help long-shots have more of a chance against horses with better odds of winning.
Indeed, a couple horses with very long odds to win finished in second and third to make our mysterious gambler's bet that much more lucrative. Here's a look at the race's official results.

As you can see from the screenshot above, the superfecta paid out $75,974.50.
Not a bad return for your day at the track. Not bad at all.
