Kesha and Zedd have legally released her first single since 2013
Coming from Kesha, "I will never apologize for the fire in my eyes" is a powerful statement -- especially on a legally released single.
Kesha joined Zedd on stage at Coachella on April 17 to perform the song "True Colors," which appears on his album of the same name. Yesterday, they both shared shots from the studio -- and now you can listen to the song itself.

Kesha hasn't released a new single since 2013's "Timber" with Pitbull. Since then, she's been in a legal battle to get out of her record contract, which requires her to work with producer Dr. Luke -- whom Kesha claims emotionally and sexually abused her.
Zedd has clarified that her record label Kemosabe -- which is owned by Dr. Luke -- gave them permission to release the song.
