Kevin James — the standup and actor known for The King of Queens and countless Adam Sandler movies — has a new YouTube channel and, you know what, it's pretty good!

James launched his channel a week ago in typical James fashion: a heavy dose of slapstick.

James has always been able to express comedy through his physicality and his new channel leans heavily on that skill.

James already has a mini-series of sorts, where he is inserted into scenes working as the sound guy on famous movies. The best of these is his performance as a Star Wars sound guy, watching as Darth Vader reveals to Luke that (spoiler alert... lol) he is his father.

The facial expressions from James are just great and the way he tracks Luke's fall is perfect as well. Basically the ethos of the channel thus far seems to be let Kevin James do his thing and that's perfectly fun in small, YouTube increments.

James has put out just five videos far, so there's room to grow. And sure there are some plot holes — like... OK if he's the sound guy on Star Wars why is no one breaking character? Is he just a sound guy plopped into the Star Wars universe or is he on set with George Lucas? Who knows, who cares?

Anyway, the videos are surprisingly high budget and are definitely fun. We'll be keeping an eye out for more.
