Rose McGowan leads backlash against Kevin Spacey amid allegations of sexual misconduct
Celebrities are criticising Kevin Spacey after he came out as gay amid allegations that he made "sexual advances" to actor Anthony Rapp when he was just 14 years old.
Spacey, 58 released a statement saying that he has had "romantic encounters with men throughout [his] life," and has chosen now to "live as a gay man."
But people have accused the House of Cards star of using his coming out as a smokescreen to distract the public attention from the allegations of sexual misconduct, which appeared on BuzzFeed News.
Rose McGowan, who has been one of the most outspoken women in the Harvey Weinstein saga, was again the most vocal in warning the media to keep the attention on the sexual assault allegations:
