Nothing says summer like baseball, very cold drinks and mind-numbing brain freeze.

A young sports fan experienced all three at a Memphis Redbirds minor league baseball game on Sunday, where he participated in a Icee-chugging contest.

Determined to win, this kid powered through his slushie, only to face the unfortunate consequence: an out-of-control brain freeze.

Those closed eyes, that slap to the forehead -- it's clear he immediately regretted his decision.

We're sure it was worth it, kid.
