Kid's heartwarming note to his dad has a spectacularly no-nonsense twist ending

What a way with words.

Children really do have a splendid way with words.

Whether they're singing about Girl Scout cookies or making jokes that are so bad they're good, kids are pretty much the gift that keep on giving.

Turns out they're pretty good at writing notes, too.

That note was shared on Reddit's r/funny sub on Sunday. It's since racked up over 18,000 upvotes.

Turns out "that game" wasn't exactly a game, either.

Shame gaming shops don't accept Reddit upvotes as currency.
