This 9-second video of a kid in a funhouse mirror maze is perfect
The carnival can make clowns of us all sometimes.
Twitter user Erin Porter posted a video of her young nephew trying to make his way through a funhouse mirror maze, and he looks like he's got the hang of it. Almost.

Running straight into his own reflection, full speed, he gets knocked down (but we assume he gets back up again.) The "bang" of the impact is cut off in the video so perfectly it could've been featured on a knock-off of "Perfectly Cut Screams" titled "Perfectly Cut Kids Bumping Into Funhouse Mirrors." To be fair, it seems to already be a pretty popular genre of "kid fails."
While we wish no ill will, there's something about the adorable schadenfreude of watching kids get absolutely owned by inanimate objects that brings out the clown in all of us. For example, the immediate popularity of these two hilarious edits of the original.

Others couldn't help but point out the obvious parallels between the kid running through the maze, and the terrifying events of Us.
