Kim Kardashian's $4 million wedding ring was reportedly taken in robbery

Kim Kardashian West was robbed at gunpoint in her hotel room while visiting Paris for fashion week, according to her publicist and authorities.

A police spokesman confirmed that the robbers, who attacked Kardashian West at about 3 a.m. local time, took several million dollars in jewelry.

According to The Associated Press, the five armed men dressed as police officers stole a jewelry box containing valuables worth 6 million euros ($6.7 million,) and a journalist at France Info reported that Kardashian West's wedding ring, estimated at $4.5 million, was one of the items snatched.

Since West proposed to the reality television star back in 2013, she hasn't been shy about sharing snaps of her beloved ring on social media, and as People reported, West gifted his bride with an even more spectacular ring in August of 2016.

The new bling, allegedly stolen in the recent Paris robbery, is reported to be close to 20 carats and valued at an estimated $4.5 million, while her original engagement ring was 15 carats.

While in Paris, Kardashian West posted the below photograph to Instagram, which showed her flaunting her new ring just two days before the robbery occurred.

Upon hearing of the robbery, Kanye West cut his his Sunday night performance at The Meadows music festival in New York City short and promptly exited the stage, citing a "family emergency."
