Thank your lucky stars that you don't have to dive into the uncertain waters of 2017 without proper selfie leadership. The queen is back and she brings us peace.

Kim Kardashian West shared her first selfie in over three months late last night, restoring some order into the chaos of our unforgiving universe.

Kardashian West returned to social media earlier this week after a hiatus following the Paris robbery with a couple grainy family photos and a sweet home video. But it's not real until she's taking selfies again.

So now that we possess this most precious gift, it's critical that we don't squander it. Here are some important details we can move forward with as we take our own selfies:

  • Peace signs are still cool.

  • Moms are cool and make great accessories.

  • Removable lip rings are cool.

  • Blazers are cool.

  • Strobing is cool. Contouring is still uncool.

  • Teeth are uncool.

  • Selfies are very cool.

Go forth and pose, content creators.
