Kim Kardashian West is sending her 'haters' Valentine's gifts and there's no ulterior motive there

Passive-aggressive gift-giving just got taken to a new level.

Kim Kardashian West has released a range of "Kimoji Hearts" perfumes, and with Valentine's Day on the horizon, what better time to publicise?

Kardashian sent some PR sets of the fragrances in actual chocolate hearts, and celebrity recipients were given a mallet to smash open the hearts and access the perfume inside, as demonstrated by Paris Hilton.

But in her Instagram story Kardashian explained that it wasn't just friends of hers receiving the hearts. As well as her nearest and dearest, Kardashian said she would be sending them to her "haters".

“I’m going to send them to my lovers, to my haters, to everyone that I think of," she said, "because it’s Valentine's Day after all.”

She showed the list of recipients.

The list features a mix of the aforementioned "lovers" and "haters". Taylor Swift, Piers Morgan, and Chloe Grace Moretz all feature and almost certainly fall into the second category.

The fragrances are named "BFF", "BAE" and "RIDE OR DIE" -- and Kardashian was keen to clarify that there was no pattern as to whether foes or friends got a specific fragrance.

Still, making lists of people who've slighted you... that's not creepy at all.
