Real people actually bid to buy a bag of air from Kobe Bryant's last game
You may never be able to touch Kobe Bryant or see him in person -- but now you can finally buy a bag of air he maybe farted in.
In the grand tradition of people seriously hocking bags of air (yes, it's a thing), someone decided to sell air from Kobe's last game at the Staples Center. Though eBay has since taken the advertisement down, the bidding went up to over $13,600.

Sadly, that wasn't the most outrageous price for Bryant merchandise, although it was the most ethereal product. There were $38,000 Kobe jackets and $5,000 Kobe hats. To commemorate Kobe's last day on the court, the Lakers sold a record $1.2 million in gear.
This isn't the first time people have tried to market free air, and it probably won't be the last. A Canadian start-up used to sell bottled up air to polluted cities in China.
Someone once even tried to sell a bag of air taken from a Kanye concert on eBay, and prices hovered around $60,000. EBay similarly took the ad down, because apparently they don't like to "put a price on natural resources" and "scam people out of thousands of dollars."
Whatever, eBay.
And congratulations, Kobe. We all breathe the same air -- but we like yours a little bit better.
