Beijing artist sticks 1,000 eggs on a wedding dress to mark World Earth Day
Beijing-based artist Kong Ning is back with another over-the-top wedding dress to make a statement.
On Friday, Kong wore a wedding dress that she studded with 1,000 eggs to mark World Earth Day. She paraded the dress outside the National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA) in Beijing.

The poofy dress with a long train took her two days to finish.
The egg theme was also likely in support of a new collection of poems that she's released this week. One of her poems is titled "1,000 hatched eggs."
It's not clear if any eggs were broken during the construction or wearing of the elaborate gown.
Wedding dresses are a recurring theme in Kong's performance art. In December, she stuck hundreds of 3M respiratory masks onto a dress and walked around the streets protesting the notoriously thick air pollution in Beijing.
