Donut-flavored soda is the most American soft drink imaginable

If we can depend on America for anything, it's putting two powerful foods together to make another, even more powerful food.

Such is the case with Cheerwine Kreme, which combines two beloved, sugar-laden treats — Krispy Kreme donuts and cherry soda — into something that, frankly, is probably too sweet.

But that doesn't mean it's not delicious.

For now, Cheerwine Kreme is only available in a few grocery stores in the Carolinas, but here's hoping it graces the rest of the country soon.

Also worth noting: Cheerwine cream-filled donuts exist.
