Kristi Yamaguchi's tweet to Nancy Kerrigan proves 1994 ice skater drama is alive and well
Nancy Kerrigan is competing on this season of Dancing With the Stars, and this time around, Tonya Harding isn't around to intervene.
But ice skater drama is forever, so Kristi Yamaguchi, 1992 gold medalist and a previous champion of the reality show, chimed in to give her fellow '90s ice queen some cold advice.

The good luck wish is pretty layered in this particular scenario.
Kerrigan, of course, had a painful road to the 1994 Olympics after Harding's ex-husband clubbed Kerrigan in the knee just a month before the Lillehammer games. She did, however, go on to win the silver. Harding ended up finishing in 8th place after all the drama.
Kerrigan managed to get through the first round of Dancing With the Stars injury-free and will dance another day.
Kerrigan responded to the tweet with class.
