'American Pie' meets 'The Inbetweeners' in new movie starring YouTubers KSI, Caspar Lee
British YouTubers KSI and Caspar Lee are hitting the big screen in the upcoming buddy comedy Laid in America.
The film -- marketed as a mix of "sex, stupidity and fun for a millennial audience" -- follows exchange students Duncan (KSI) and Jack (Lee) on their last night in United States, as they try to lose their virginities with the girls of their dreams.

This is KSI's -- who has 13.6 million YouTube subscribers -- feature film debut. Lee -- who has 6.5 million YouTube subscribers -- starred in a similar buddy comedy in 2015 alongside YouTuber Joe Sugg called Joe and Caspar Hit the Road.
The film co-stars a handful of other digital influencers including Josh Leyva (1.6 million YouTube subscribers), Bobby Lee (150,000 YouTube subscribers), Madison Iseman (184,000 Instagram subscribers) and Bart Baker (8.2 million YouTube subscribers).
Universal Pictures Home Entertainment Content Group is distributing the film in the U.S., UK, Ireland and Latin America. The film’s producers -- Max Gottlieb (The Fun Group) and Adam Margules (Angry Adam Productions) -- are handling distribution for the rest of the world.
The film will be released on digital platforms on Sept. 27. It will be released on DVD and Blu-ray Oct. 4.
