LADIES -- what do you really want out of your future?

A few days ago a tweet by @mallorii_alysee started making rounds on Twitter. In it, Mallori expresses a wish for her best life: a very routine suburban experience of watching kids play baseball and a husband coaching.

Now there's nothing wrong with wanting a cookie cutter white picket fence 2.5 kids life, but people couldn't help but find this idealization of regular suburban life by college girls a little strange.

Someone also pointed out that this Tweet was apparently adapted from something posted over a week ago.

The romanticization of regular suburban life elicited a response from the internet. And as usual, that response turned into a meme.

Some users started to copy the format, but included their own versions of their fantasized futures -- whether directly referencing the original baseball scenario or taking their vision of the future to a completely different place.

Others shared some, uh, darker and bleaker versions of that "best life."

Yet others opted for more bizarre and fantastical futures, taking inspiration from beloved pieces of fiction and pop culture.

Of course, there was a Shrek one.

And meme-favorite, Bee Movie.
