Lady Gaga'a country-themed AMAs performance will make you want to commune with nature

It's fair, after you've worn a meat dress, to surprise your audience with minimalism. Lady Gaga, whose performances in recent years have highlighted her sizable vocal chops over her penchant for theatrics, took to the AMAs stage with a guitar and a stool.

Gaga sang "Million Reasons" from her latest album, Joanne, on a stage dressed to look as lush and green as the open country. The performance was introduced by her American Horror Story costar Matt Bomer.

Joanne hit the top of the Billboard charts in its first week and continues to sell well, proving that this diva hasn't gotten any less fierce. She'll hit the Super Bowl stage in February.
