Lady Gaga asked Twitter what 'Fortnight' is and it went about as well as you'd expect

She's really putting the 'Mother' in Mother Monster.

When Lady Gaga didn't know what the popular video game Fortnite was, she did what any sensible adult would do and asked Twitter.

Unfortunately for Mother Monster, genuine explanations of the game were not amongst the top responses. Instead, reactions mainly consisted of typical Twitter trolling.

As it stands, Twitter is unsympathetic to Gaga's quest for Fortnite info, using the situation to direct emphasis toward other matters. Like, the next album?

It's likely that Gaga saw Fortnite trending when the game went dark for two days after the game's island was sucked into a black hole on Sunday. Users were unable to play the game until Tuesday morning, when the new season and map dropped.

But instead of explaining, some users went straight to self-deprecation.

Some were just in total disbelief.

And some mentioned other places to go for quick searches, which to be fair, would have given Gaga what she was looking for much faster (and without the onslaught of hilarious-but-totally-unhelpful responses).

But perhaps she already abandoned Twitter in search of the truth. Once Lady Gaga learns about Fortnite, who's to say she won't just drop right into a game and start slaying? Enjoy your Gaga-less Fortnite while you can. Because once she's in it, it's over for y'all.
