You weren't really expecting Lady Gaga to be lowkey, right?

Lady Gaga started her Super Bowl halftime show on the roof of the stadium, thank you very much, belting out a few lines from "God Bless America” and “This Land is Your Land," and then, you know, just swinging down onto the field thanks to a harness and some cables.

She gave fans a bit of "Edge of Glory" and then dove into "Poker Face," "Telephone," "Just Dance" and more. Throughout the performance, she leaned hard into her Fame/Fame Monster era (smart; that's what the big Super Bowl audience most wants to hear from her), though she did devote a few minutes to a powerful piano rendition of "Million Reasons," her Joanne ballad.

She also made time for a sweet "Hi Dad! Hi Mom!" shoutout in between floating in the air and jumping from set piece to set piece, as one does.

A big question going into the night was if she would choose to get overtly political (particularly with VP Pence in the stadium). While she eschewed a more direct anti-Trump statement during these highly charged times, it should be noted she gave prominent placement to her hit "Born This Way," which of course includes the lines "No matter gay, straight, or bi, lesbian, transgendered life, I'm on the right track baby, I was born to survive." Additionally, "This Land is Your Land" was originally conceived as a protest song. Smart gal.

Her final moment, of course, was her biggest hit to date, 2009's "Bad Romance." And you really can't perform that song in anything other than sparkly booty shorts, so a costume change was 100 percent necessary.

After her triumphant finalé, Gaga even caught a football before falling under the stage.

Your move, Tom Brady.
