Lady Gaga and the survivors from her Oscar performance got matching tattoos

Lady Gaga's passionate performance of "'Till It Happens to You" at the Oscars was one of the evening's major highlights -- but her relationship with the sexual assault survivors who shared her stage didn't end when the credits rolled.

Gaga got matching tattoos with some of the people who stood by her as she sang, symbolizing their unity.

The song comes from the film The Hunting Ground, a documentary about sexual assault on college campuses. Gaga has been open about being a survivor of sexual assault herself and has supported singer Kesha throughout Kesha's lawsuit against music producer Dr. Luke, whom Kesha says abused her mentally, emotionally and physically over the course of 10 years.





This week, Gaga has also been sharing anti-sexual assault PSAs on her Instagram account.
