Laura Jane Grace's memoir will soon hit a bookshelf near you.

The lead singer of punk band Against Me!, who came out as transgender in 2012, has announced a memoir titled Tranny: Confessions of Punk Rock's Most Infamous Anarchist Sellout. The book, released by Hatchette, will hit shelves on Nov. 15 and was written with help by Noisey editor Dan Ozzi.

The memoir will include "never-before-published journal entries, which reach back to childhood," a press release states. It will trace Grace's life, covering her drug addiction and depression in her teen years, punk rock career, failed marriages and transition.

Grace tweeted the cover image of the book, an image drawn by graphic artist Christopher Norris.

Grace also tweeted about the purpose of the book, saying it's in "no way what-so-ever about self glorification or hero-worship."

She also tweeted about the book's title, a charged term in the transgender community that many view as a slur.

She also pledged to "give a gratis copy of my book to any trans, gender queer, non-binary, etc person who is offended by the title," but later deleted that message.

Grace also responded to users who took issue with the title choice.
