That's how it starts...

LCD Soundsystem's first shows since the band's fairly unsuccessful attempt at retirement will happen where it all began, then ended: New York City. The group will play two shows before headlining a string of festivals this summer.

There's no word yet as to whether the band will premiere promised new material, or make this a real holiday show by playing the only new material they've released in years: "Christmas Will Break Your Heart."

If you want to buy tickets, you'll have to enter a lottery. Winners will be announced Friday morning. 

But if you're not lucky there, LCD's summer festival schedule may give you your chance to see the band... until they rise from the dead again.
