Legends of the Hidden Temple host Kirk Fogg will appear in the upcoming TV movie based on the '90s game show.

According to Nickelodeon, Fogg will be a key figure in the movie, based on a game show that ran on the network from 1993-95.

“When Nickelodeon asked me to be a part of the Legends of the Hidden Temple movie, I immediately went to the closet and pulled out my blue denim shirt, which has been protected by a powerful golden force field since 1995,” said Fogg, in a statement via the network.

Legends is truly a legend, and I’m honored to be a part of it again. I’m sure the Ancient Olmec had something to do with this; that rock head is pretty sneaky.”

Production on the film, slated for release this fall, is currently underway.

The movie centers on three siblings (Isabela Moner, Colin Critchley and Jet Jurgensmeyer) who break away from a boring jungle tour and soon find themselves immersed in a high-stakes adventure with obstacles that they must complete if they want to escape alive.

Before you ask: Olmec, the talking head who knows the secrets behind the temple, is set to appear -- as will The Steps of Knowledge, the entrance to the temple and launching pad for the mission. You can also expect cameos from a green monkey, red jaguar, and silver snakes, among others.

Let's just hope the temple run goes better for the kids in the movie than it did for the little dude in this clip:
