We still don't know much about Lego Batman, the toy caped crusader who helped Emmet save the day in The Lego Movie -- but the mysterious man behind the mask is growing more visible.

In new photos from Warner Bros.' upcoming Lego Batman, Bruce Wayne (ahem--never mind) shows us around his beautiful gothic manor.

“The Batcave is even better than we remembered it, it’s awesome," star Will Arnett, who plays the brooding minifigure, tells USA Today. “But I also love getting into the ho-hum day-to-day of being Batman and what it’s like to fight crime each day. Like the idea of Batman oversleeping his alarm clock makes me laugh. It really does humanize him.”

“At first it doesn’t look like it’s all built in Lego," said animation director Chris McKay. "But as you get closer you realize it is. We’re building an entire city, the Batcave and vehicles, going deep into Batman’s world.”

McKay and his team use Lego construction as the basis for their 3D animation.

“We get down to that perfect sweet spot for Batman, but also having moments of hesitation,” said Arnett. “There’s nothing better than a guy who has this super-authoritative, brooding, voice but also moments where he’s a bit unsure.”

The new film will focus on Batman, living at home with Alfred (Ralph Fiennes), until he meets Robin (Michael Cera), Batgirl (Rosario Dawson) and the Joker (Zach Galifianakis).
