Admit it, there's no bigger star to come out of the Star Wars reboot Star Wars: The Force Awakens than BB-8.

When that roly-poly robot is in a scene, nothing else matters; you can't help but watch the emotive orange and white droid. I'd argue that we wouldn't have grown so attached to Rey if BB-8 hadn't fallen for her first. Which is why I was so shocked to learn that there's never been a BB-8 Lego building kit, until now.

BB-8 is already part of the Lego family, but only as a tiny, two-piece figure. The all new Lego BB-8 kit increases that piece number by 1,104.

The new kit, which is designed for kids 10 and up, lets you build a 9-inch tall by 5-inch wide BB-8 that, despite the blocky nature of most Lego pieces, is a more than reasonable simulacrum of the robot.

It's also not just a fixed model. There's a wheel for spinning BB-8's dome head and another for extending its torch (also made of Legos). It also comes with a display stand.

The $99.99 Lego BB-8 kit goes on sale on Sept. 1, which is Force Friday II, the day Star Wars merchandisers have set aside to launch a whole new collection of Star Wars: The Last Jedi-related toys. The new movie, which continues the Star Wars saga, opens in December.
