It took 20 hours to make this masterful Lego stained-glass tile
Stained-glass artwork has been inspiring awe for centuries, with some of the world's most famous works found in churches and other places of worship around the globe.
Like the mesmerizing stained-glass windows of the Blue Mosque in Istanbul, Turkey
Or the captivating Glass of Chartres Cathedral in France
But a more recent work has graced us with its utter stained-glass majesty, and it comes from a place of raw, unbridled passion:
The Lego Man.
Its creator, Craig Mortensen, shared an image of the stained-glass masterpiece on social media. Mortensen, who regularly shares his Lego creations on his website Brick and Mortay, said the glass artwork took nearly 20 hours to create. He also used a table saw with a diamond blade to cut the rounded hands.
One cannot deny the near-perfect interpretation of the legendary childhood block toy person.
