BARCELONA -- Sandwiched between major smartphone announcements from LG and Samsung, Lenovo is coming out guns blazing at the Mobile World Congress this year, updating a big part of its Yoga lineup, and launching a new ideapad tablet for good measure.

There are four new Yoga devices, all in all: Lenovo Yoga 710 11'', Yoga 710 14'', Yoga 510 14'' and Yoga 510 15'' (note: the latter two will be called Flex 4 in the U.S.).

The new devices bring a number of improvements compared to their predecessors in the Yoga lineup, namely Yoga 700 and 500 (or Flex 3 in the U.S.).

The 11-inch variant of the Yoga 710 weighs only 1.07kg, has 8 hours of battery life (a 14% improvement over the last version, Lenovo claims), and a Core m5 processor as an option. Its bigger, 14-inch brother has the same battery life, a more powerful Intel Core i7 processor, an SSD with up to 256GB of storage space and optional Nvidia GeForce graphics.

The Yoga 510 14- and 15-inch laptops weigh 1.75kg and 2.08kg, respectively, and come with Intel Core i7 processors with optional AMD Radeon graphics.

Like all Yoga laptops, all these devices can easily switch between four modes of operation: laptop, stand, tent and tablet.

Lenovo also launched a cheap, lightweight 10-inch tablet called the ideapad MIIX 310. It sports a detachable keyboard, 10 hours of battery life, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage memory.

The Yoga 710 models will be available globally starting in May 2016, the pricing being €799 for the 11-inch model and €899 for the 14-inch one. The 14-inch and 15-inch Yoga 510 laptops will arrive one month earlier, for the price of €479 and €699, respectively. Finally, the ideapad MIIX 310 will arrive in June 2016, starting at €269.
