Some Twitter users don't seem to have grasped that, as evidenced by a mixup this week from folks attempting to discredit LaVar Ball, who has been on the other end of Donald Trump's tweets lately.

The president's beef with Ball, whose son was one of the UCLA basketball players released from China after shoplifting allegations, has caused many to tweet in a blind range. Only problem is those tweeting along with Trump are confusing the Big Baller Brand founder for the man of both Reading Rainbow and Star Trek fame, LeVar Burton.

Yep. Despite having different names, professions, and Twitter handles, the rage has been targeted towards the dude who probably helped your kid really appreciate books.

"You're a has been actor with a thief for a son and Trump is president of the United States. Get the picture?" one Twitter user kindly pointed out to Burton, not Ball as intended. Another referred to one of the kindest television personalities as "an arrogant asshole."

Burton responded to those confusing him for Ball: "One of many sleights I am having to endure these days," he wrote before tagging Ball.

People quickly jumped on board with Burton to correct the mistake in disbelief.

The LaVar that's actually under the spotlight thanks to the president's tweets has not said anything about the mixup so maybe this could all lead to the exclusive Reading Rainbow x BBB capsule collection of our dreams, just to spite the administration.
