Your long-distance flights may get a bit more bearable thanks to new OLED displays from LG.

Ahead of CES in Las Vegas next week, LG announced flexible 55-inch OLED displays designed to be installed on the walls of airplanes to create the sense that you're not encased in a small cabin. The displays — which could show clouds, open sky, and other peaceful scenes — should allow "people to feel more openness" while traveling, according to an LG press release.

Unless, of course, you don't like to be reminded you're flying several miles up in the air. In that case, we recommend sleep masks.

If you've got the money for first class, you'll get an even more premium video experience. Specifically, you'll get LG's 65-inch Ultra (UHD) Bendable OLED display that's probably nicer than any TV you will ever actually own.

LG says passengers will be able to adjust the screen, too, to best fit whatever viewing experience they want, from playing video games to binging movies on a long flight.

The first class cabin of the future could also include a 55-inch OLED display with 40 percent transparency as a partition. Use it as a display or a means to prevent others from peeping in on your flight experience.

It all sounds pretty great, though who knows how much your first-class ticket will actually cost with these. Someone's gotta pay for all those fancy-pants displays, after all.
