EARLIER:

Lil Wayne has reportedly been rushed to a hospital after suffering two seizures on a cross-country flight on Monday, causing his private jet to make two separate emergency landings in Omaha, Nebraska.

According to TMZ, Wayne's jet made an emergency landing in Nebraska after he suffered a seizure in the air. The site reports that the rapper refused medical treatment at that time and got back on the plane. Minutes after takeoff, according to TMZ, Wayne suffered a second seizure and the jet was forced to make another landing. He was reportedly rushed to a hospital after the second seizure.

A representative for Lil Wayne said "we're awaiting more accurate information."

This is not the first time Lil Wayne has suffered a seizure. His jet made emergency landings two days in a row in 2012. After a near-fatal seizure in 2013 the rapper opened up about his lifelong battle with epilepsy.

“The thing is, man, the bad news is, I’m an epileptic, so I’m prone to seizures,” he said. “This isn’t my first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh seizure. I’ve had a bunch of seizures; y’all just never hear about it. This time it got real bad because I got three of ’em in a row, and on the third one, my heart rate went down to, like, 30 percent. Basically, I could’ve died soon. That’s why it was so serious."
