Lin-Manuel Miranda is hosting 'Saturday Night Live,' so get ready for that 'Hamilton' parody

The newest room where it happens is Studio 8H.

Hamilton creator Lin-Manuel Miranda will host Saturday Night Live on Oct. 8, NBC announced Wednesday morning.

Alas, despite his plethora of talents, he will not also serve as the musical guest. That honor goes to Twenty One Pilots.

Miranda left Hamilton in July and has been keeping busy with Disney projects. He wrote the music to the upcoming animated film Moana and is set to star opposite Emily Blunt in next year's Mary Poppins Returns. Additionally, he has signed on alongside Alan Menken to co-write the music for the forthcoming live-action The Little Mermaid remake.
