'American Idol' confirms new judges and Twitter is...surprisingly pumped?
At this point in "2017," we know time is but a construct. The new season of Will and Grace has started, the Blade Runner sequel is coming to theaters, and American Idol is gearing up for its latest iteration (still with Ryan Seacrest). ABC confirmed Friday that Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan would be joining Katy Perry as judges, and the response has been largely positive so far.
It's an interesting panel, to be sure, and the mix of judges has their fan bases vowing to tune in for the new Idol season. Could this be the kickstart new Idol needs?
