Jack-in-the-boxes have terrorized far too many toddlers, for far too long.
At first glance, this little boy might seem to have a slightly exaggerated response to this Jack-in-the-box. But think of the psychological dynamics at play in the toy. A panicked clown pops out of a tiny box and at your face. Terror -- not laughter -- is the only appropriate emotional reaction.
