Dating can be fun, we guess. But there's plenty of other times where it reaches a new level of torturous hell.

Sadly for the romantics out there, this date is definitely in the latter category. For the rest of us, the horrific rendezvous was covered on Twitter in entertaining detail by user Kelly Fine on Wednesday evening.

If you've ever been in the company of a complete and utter control freak, then you'll revel in this excellent tale. It all starts when the guy refuses to look at the menu, and insists on ordering for them.

Here. We. Go.

Gee this is escalating really quickly...

...really quickly.

He told you the first time. NO MENUS!

For the third time, no. Menus.

Gross.

GROSS.

I'll tell you what to like!

Fun fact: Giant clams are listed as a vulnerable species, and have been so for more than 30 years.

Big boy Tony.

Oh thank goodness it's all over.

Sounds like a real catch, hey? Never date people, never date. But here's another date from hell if you so fancy.
