Ryan Lochte reveals he's having a baby in the most Ryan Lochte way
Ryan Lochte's swimmers made it.
Or so we think.
Today, Ryan Lochte -- America's Golden Boy, Olympic athlete and famous liar -- sort-of announced on Instagram that his fiancee, Kayla Rae Reid, is pregnant.
As he writes in the caption, "My Christmas gift came early this year, can't wait for next year! Best news I've ever received #CLOUD9 #excited #family #love #2017."
Now, because Lochte is a famous liar, can we even trust that this is real? It's possible that Lochte is further contributing to the current fake news catastrophe.
Luckily, Kayla's Instagram gave us more information, as well as a photo that nearly enters the uncanny valley.
As we learn from her hashtag, they are "prego." A word which, interpreted as "pregnant" and not the Italian word for "you are welcome," means that they are expecting a child.
2017 should be a busy year for the couple if they're planning a wedding too. While we wish Lochte and Reid the best, we are filled with questions.
-Will this baby be friends with Boomer Phelps? -Will Lochte give his baby a pair of grills? -Will the baby be a good swimmer? -Will the baby's first words be "I over-exaggerated that story"?
