A giant balloon that's part of an art installation is causing traffic chaos in London

"Are they remaking The Prisoner at Oxford Circus??"

A giant, unpredictable balloon roaming free in the streets of London? What could possibly go wrong?

The giant inflatable balloon was placed in Oxford Circus in honor of the Lumiere Light art festival in London. The art installation was put in the middle of a busy area, during rush hour, on a very windy day in the city.

Many Londoners were concerned about the huge balloon because of the harsh winds and how close it was to nearby buses. At one point, the inflatable ball even stopped traffic and brought police to the scene.

It's essentially what Rover from the British television program The Prisoner is all about. A giant white balloon whose only role was to kill people trying to leave.

Not surprisingly, its appearance has provided a lot of reactions from Twitter.

Let's just hope no one gets hurt, and the art installation serves its purpose (which is still unknown). We're on to you Rover.
