Random act of kindness helps Londoner find lost cardigan in unlikely spot

LONDON -- If you lose something in London -- be it a wallet, your phone or an item of clothing -- the chances of you finding it again aren't great.

But strange things do happen.

On Tuesday, Reddit user Finn_Fatale lost a cardigan during a journey to Cannon Street.

The next day, though, it reappeared in an unusual place.

"Somebody had put it on the statue," wrote Finn_Fatale in a comment. "Poor cordwainer though, must be sweltering in this heat... I'm torn, take it or leave it there to amuse passers-by?"

The photo kicked off a discussion about other random acts of kindness that people in London had experienced.

Someone chipped in with their story of a lost camera.
