SAVE $8: The Loop Experience 2 earplugs are on sale for $26.95 during Amazon Prime Day. That's 23% off their $34.95 MSRP and a new all-time low price.

Last fall, a Charli xcx-themed dance party at a local club led me to some powerful realizations. One, there's nothing more cathartic than screaming "Vroom Vroom" in a room full of people. And two, I need hearing protection when I go to music events. Tinnitus is decidedly not "brat."

A few Google and Reddit searches led me to the Loop Experience 2 earplugs, which are designed to filter damaging noise at live music events. I happened to be shopping for them right around Black Friday and managed to grab them on sale for $27.95, or 20% off their $34.95 MSRP. If you need a pair for an upcoming summer concert or music festival, you can get them for $1 less on Amazon during its Prime Day sale, live now through July 11. That record-low pricing applies to most colors, too.

I took my Loops on their maiden voyage to the Cowboy Carter Tour at Chicago's Soldier Field this spring, and I was pleasantly surprised by how well they worked. To quote my writeup at the time: "I removed my right earplug at one point during the set and was shocked to hear that the crowd was close to singing over [Beyoncé]. The Loops were tuning out everyone else without making her sound muffled." I used to wear regular foam earplugs to monster truck rallies as a kid — I'm a woman of many interests, OK? — and the Loops' sound clarity is miles better.

The Loops are also, crucially, not ugly. Their circular acoustic channels come in a variety of metallic finishes, so they look like daith piercings when worn. Amazon's unprecedented Prime Day price applies to the silver, gold, and rose gold styles, but you'll have to shell out full price for the limited-edition Coachella (ombre) and Tomorrowland (holographic) collabs.

For what it's worth, Loop isn't matching Amazon's deal on the Experience 2 itself: They're still full price at the Loop website, and you have to pay $4.95 for shipping. With a Prime membership, they ship for free.
